What We Offer

History Monash Inc. (formerly the Oakleigh & District Historical Society) has been building a local history collection relevant to districts in the City of Monash since 1961.

Our archive contains photographs, cemetery records, some civic, club and school records, newspapers, manuscripts, maps, ephemera and artefacts, family histories and reference works.

Our collection may be viewed by appointment - to request this, please email History Monash [email protected].

Services include the provision of information on local history. A fee for research may apply as well as copying charges. Rates will be advised at the time of application. Please note that because of the large number of inquiries received by mail, email, phone and visits to the centre, responses may be delayed.
