History Monash Inc is thrilled to have received $3200 at the Community Bank Pinewood Pitch Night on Thursday 10 November 2022. This money will enable HM to buy an A3 scanner and archival materials to preserve and catalogue the Looker-Newton real estate collection, which dates back to 1879. (See the

NEW EXHIBITION: TO CELEBRATE THE CENTENARY OF THE OAKLEIGH CHAMBERS
The Oakleigh Chambers, at 1A Atherton Road Oakleigh (next to the Police Station), was opened in 1921 and was used as the chambers for the Oakleigh Borough then Oakleigh Town Council. It was the main Council meeting place for the City of Oakleigh between 1927 and 1994. The building was

An exhibition commemorating the centenary of the Oakleigh Memorial Hall was opened on Anzac Day, 25 April 2022, by the President of the Oakleigh-Carnegie Returned Services League (RSL), Doug Pendergast.
